Terms of Service
Last updated November 6, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and KEEPR, LLC, an Oregon limited liability company ("keepr", "we", "us"), at 555 Grandover Ave SE, Salem, OR 97306. They cover keepr's website, web app, API, connector and the files and tools we publish for assistants (together, "keepr").
By creating an account, or by using keepr without one (for example, opening a public link or filling in a public form), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use keepr for an organization, you agree for it, and you confirm you're allowed to.
1. Who can use keepr
- You must be 16 or older. At sign-up you confirm that you are. If we learn an account belongs to someone younger, we delete it.
- You can't use keepr if we've closed your account before, or if the law forbids it.
2. Your account
- Give a real email address you control. keepr allows one account per inbox.
- Keep your password secret. Turn on two-step sign-in if you can.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what your API keys and connected assistants do.
- Until you confirm your email address, some features are off: public links, file uploads, API keys, sharing, notifications to others, imports and exports.
- Tell us at security@keepr.cloud if you think someone else is using your account.
3. What you keep in keepr
You own what you add. Items, files, cards and everything else you put in keepr stay yours.
What you let us do with it. You give keepr permission to store, copy, process and show your content, only as needed to run keepr and only to the people your sharing settings allow. This includes backups, search, exports, the emails and automations you set up, and the assistants you connect. This permission ends when your content is deleted from keepr, except for copies the Privacy Policy says we keep.
What you promise. You have the right to put your content in keepr, and to share it the way you share it. That includes information about other people. If you keep records about other people, such as residents, clients, patients or children, you're responsible for having the right to do so.
Back up what matters. keepr keeps History and daily backups, but you should keep your own exports of anything you can't afford to lose.
4. Sharing, public links and published collections
- Sharing. When you share a collection, the people you share it with can see, and depending on their access level change, what's in it. You can change or remove their access at any time. What they've already copied or exported stays with them.
- Public links. A public link lets anyone who has it read what it points at, without signing in, until it expires or you turn it off. Anyone can forward it. Treat it like a key.
- Published collections. A collection a keepr reviewer has published can be read by everyone signed in to keepr.
- Anything you put into a published collection — items, files, confirmations and anything else — you license to its managers and its readers to keep, show and export, for as long as they like. This license is worldwide, free and can't be taken back for what they've already kept.
- "Me too." When you say "me too" on an item, the collection's managers can see your name and the date, and can export them. Other readers see only the count.
- Public forms. A public form lets anyone send an item into a collection, without an account. The collection's managers decide whether to accept it. If you run a public form, you're responsible for what you ask, for the notice on the form, and for what you do with what people send.
5. Assistants and API keys
- You can connect an assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, or create an API key. Each one acts for you, with the collections and permissions you give it.
- What an assistant reads goes to the company that runs it, under its terms, not ours. keepr isn't responsible for what an assistant does with your data or for what it writes in keepr on your instructions.
- Check what an assistant proposes before you approve it. keepr shows a preview for changes to cards and setups; your approval is yours.
- Keep API keys secret. Revoke a key you no longer need.
- Use the API within its published limits. Don't use it to get around the limits, bot checks or access rules described below.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use keepr to:
- break the law, or help someone else break it;
- store or share content you don't have the right to, including other people's copyrighted work or private information;
- harass, threaten or exploit anyone;
- host or spread malware, phishing pages or spam, including through public links, public forms or emails keepr sends for you;
- collect other people's sign-in details or payment details;
- impersonate someone, or mislead people about who you are;
- store patient records if you are a healthcare provider, health plan or business associate that HIPAA covers (see section 7);
- create accounts in bulk or by script, use throwaway email addresses, or use variations of one email address to get more accounts;
- get around keepr's bot checks, rate limits, blocks or verification;
- probe, scan or test keepr's security, or reach data you weren't given, except through a disclosure we've agreed to in writing;
- overload keepr, or scrape it faster than its limits allow;
- copy keepr's software or build a competing service from it, except as the law allows.
What we do about abuse. We may remove content, turn off a public link or public form, revoke API keys and assistant connections, suspend an account, or delete it. We may block an email address, domain or network from signing up or signing in. Where it's safe and lawful, we tell you why and give you a chance to respond. A suspended account keeps its data; it just can't be used.
Report abuse. Every public link has a "Report this page" link. You can also write to keepr_abuse@keepr.cloud.
7. Health information
- keepr is a general-purpose tool. Many people use it for their own health records, and keepr offers health bundles in Discover.
- keepr isn't covered by HIPAA and doesn't sign business associate agreements yet, so healthcare providers, health plans and business associates that HIPAA covers must not store patient records. This does not apply to people and small care operators HIPAA doesn't cover.
- When you install a health bundle, keepr asks for your consent before it keeps health data. Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how we handle it. We never sell or share it.
- The Clinic bundle is a demo. Its items are made-up demo data, not real patients and not medical advice.
- The Caregiving & AFH and Complex care at home bundles are for people and operators HIPAA doesn't cover.
8. Reference collections and bundles
keepr publishes reference collections and bundles in Discover. These include:
- Medications: label text from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's openFDA, and names from RxNorm (National Library of Medicine);
- Oregon Administrative Rules: chapter 411;
- Vaccines & schedules: from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention;
- Vehicle models & fuel economy: from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy (fueleconomy.gov);
- Medicine safety at home: U.S. Food and Drug Administration consumer pages, copied word for word;
- Food safety at home: U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Drug Administration and FoodSafety.gov pages, copied word for word;
- Home care tasks and Fix-it guides for the home, written by keepr, and the cards, examples and settings in each bundle.
This material is provided "as is", for reference only. It is not medical, legal or professional advice. It may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. It isn't the official version of any law or label. Check the source, and ask a qualified professional, before you rely on it. Each collection names its source, license and any disclaimer. The agencies that publish the sources don't endorse keepr.
9. Copyright
We respect copyright, and we expect you to.
If you think content in keepr infringes your copyright, send a notice to:
KEEPR, LLC, Attn: Copyright
555 Grandover Ave SE, Salem, OR 97306
copyright@keepr.cloud
Your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the work you say is infringed;
- the material you say infringes it, and enough detail for us to find it, such as the public link;
- your name, address, phone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or allowed to act for the owner.
If your content was removed and you think that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your signature, what was removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and phone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, outside the U.S., any district where keepr may be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the notice. We'll forward it. Unless they tell us they've gone to court, we may restore the content in 10 to 14 business days.
Repeat infringers. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances.
Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can make you liable for damages.
10. Fees
keepr doesn't charge for its service today. Before anything in keepr costs money, we'll tell you the price, and you'll choose whether to pay.
11. Changes to keepr
keepr changes often. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, we'll try to tell you first and give you time to export your data. We may limit or stop keepr for anyone at any time, but we'll give reasonable notice before shutting keepr down entirely, so you can export.
12. Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile. The Privacy Policy says what's deleted, when, and what stays.
- We may suspend or delete your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, if your account puts others or keepr at risk, or if you never confirmed your email address and never signed in. Where it's safe and lawful, we tell you first.
- These sections keep applying after your account ends: 3 (for licenses that survive), 4, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15 and 16.
13. Disclaimers
keepr is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We don't promise keepr will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that it won't lose data. Automations, reminders and notifications can fail or arrive late: don't rely on them alone for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm, such as medication.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- keepr isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, even if we were told they were possible.
- keepr's total liability for all claims about keepr is limited to the greater of US$100 or what you paid keepr in the 12 months before the claim.
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
15. Governing law and disputes
- Oregon law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
- Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Marion County, Oregon, and you and keepr agree to their jurisdiction.
- Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court instead.
- Before filing, write to us at legal@keepr.cloud and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.
16. Everything else
- These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and keepr about keepr.
- If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it.
- You can't transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them if keepr is sold or merged.
- We'll send notices to your account's email address or show them in keepr.
17. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We'll update the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll email you or tell you in keepr at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using keepr after that, you've accepted the new terms. If you don't accept them, delete your account before they take effect.
